The distribution of journals at mentis is conducted in cooperation with the publisher Brill in Leiden (Netherlands). The journals are delivered by the company Turpin Distribution in Biggleswade (England). Our journals are available in printed and digital versions. If you have any questions regarding your subscription, please contact the customer service of Brill. Where can I send my subscription orders to?
How is the payment processed?
Payment can be made by credit card or bank transaction. Once payment has been received, your subscription will be activated; the individual issues will be sent to you as soon as they are published.
When do I get the bill?
You will receive the invoice for the next subscription year in October. For a subscription to Brill, the amount is to be paid in advance. This ensures that you receive the issues immediately when they are published.
When does my subscription start and end?
Your subscription, which is valid for an entire calendar year, starts on 1 January and ends on 31 December. If you subscribe during the course of a year, you will receive all issues published during that year. If delivery of the issues is delayed, the subscription will not be closed until the last issue of the year in question has been delivered.
How to renew the subscription?
If the subscription has not been cancelled, you will automatically receive a reminder including an invoice for its renewal. If the subscription is not to be renewed in the following year, please inform us by 1 November of the current year at the latest. Canceling a subscription in the current reference period is no longer possible once the delivery of journals has begun.
How to cancel the subscription?
Once the subscription has been paid and the subscription period has started, the subscription cannot be cancelled for the current year. If the subscription period has not yet started, a cancelation can be made by sending an e-mail message to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. The subscription price will then be refunded to you less a five percent processing fee.
When do I receive the issues of the journal?
The issues will be shipped to you as soon as they are published.

What is included in the subscription price?
If you subscribe to the printed version, you will receive additional access to the electronic version at no extra charge. You also have the option of subscribing to the digital edition only. If you wish to switch your subscription from the printed to the digital edition, please contact us at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org

How do I notify you of a change of address?
Please notify us of a change of address as soon as possible by sending an e-mail message to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org providing your name, new address, journal title(s) and customer number.
